2019 Circle Brook Farm Event Schedule

Farm Visit

June 29th and 30th

10:00 AM to 4 PM 

Saturday 6/29 will be the main day for CSA members with Sunday 6/30, 11 AM to 4 PM as a rain date and for anyone who cannot make it on Saturday. This will be a potluck picnic, please bring a vegetarian dish to share with others. Grills will be available for anything you wish to bring to cook. There will be tours of the fields at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. Volunteers are welcome to help with set up and parking. A state park, Kittatinny Valley, is nearby with wonderful trails and camp sites available. This year John is also asking for volunteers to help pick peas for an hour or two prior to the start of the farm visit on Saturday and Sunday.

Volunteer Days

John knows there are many people who would like to come out to lend a hand and he certainly can use the help. On Sundays during the delivery season he will have volunteer days. These will be to help with harvesting labor intensive crops like peas, beans, garlic and onions. For these volunteer days members should notify John directly by e-mail of their intention to attend. Please send him an e-mail during the week prior to the event and not weeks or months ahead. kruegerjohn@earthlink.net
